This week, we completed the following work.
Mowing:
- Due to the rain on Wednesday and the forecast through the week, we had to come in on Friday to complete the mowing.
- With the forecast, we were not able to work on weeds this week.
- I noted that zones 1 and 2 of the mowing were really bad with bed edging, and we will be working on that next week, due to getting familiar with the property this week on our first mow.
- We mowed at 4.5 inches on Monday and then moved to 5 inches for the remainder of the homes. Next week, all will be mowed at 4.5 inches.
Pruning:
- We were not able to start with the pruning this week, but we will make up for the work over the next couple of weeks.
- We will be starting with the clubhouse with cutbacks, removal of dead plants, and working down the entrance and out on Imperial.
- We will be cutting back the following plants.
- Hibiscus
- Arboricolas
- Crotons as needed
- Crown of Thorns will be cut back just a bit
- Bougainvillea
- Firebush
Irrigation:
- We are going through and working on the wet check of the system while mapping out the system to make sure that everything is working as it should.
Pest control and fertilization:
I will have the schedule for the services for the next 3-4 months, hopefully by next Friday, and will update you so that you can share it with the association.
